Privacy

Your Compass belongs to you.

Core Compass may ask meaningful questions. That makes privacy especially important.

We design Core Compass around three principles:

Know what’s being shared.
Choose what gets shared.
Keep control of your Compass.

What happens to your answers

ExperienceWhere your answers go
Quick experiences on the Try page (student, quick faculty, and work-and-life versions)They stay in your browser. These pages are built so they cannot send anything anywhere.
Faculty Compass Preview and Student Compass Preview (5 to 10 minutes, AI-guided)Your answers are sent to our AI provider only to ask your next question and write your preview. Core Compass does not save your answers on any server or keep a record of what you write. Your progress is kept in your own browser until you choose Start over. Anything you share, you choose, and only the line you pick goes on the share card.
Linden Ridge case studySame as above.
Faculty Compass, full guided versionEach answer is sent to our AI provider to write the guide’s next reply. Core Compass does not save your answers on any server. Your progress is kept in your own browser.
Your own AI assistantIf you choose to paste your instruction into an AI assistant you use, that assistant’s own privacy terms apply. Core Compass never sees it.
Campus and contact formsWhat you type in the form comes to the Core Compass team so we can reply to you.
Student course and Department CompassDetails will be published here before these are offered.
